- Linux on an ASUS M6800VA
- Second laptop I had: Asus M6800VA. Not very different from the Acer, but it is more up to date, better built and also heavier. This was a company laptop that I kept until June 2007.

- Linux on an Acer Travelmate
- The Acer Travelmate 4001 WLMi was actually my first laptop. I had it for 16 months and it was good value for money.
Except for the battery monitor, this laptop handles Linux operating system very well.
